The general director of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, today introduced the XXII International Orienteering Trophy in Nature, to be held in Cehegín from 5 to 7 March, and with the participation of 300 Murcia.
This year has registered some 1,000 people from different parts of Spain and Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Slovak Republic, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
During the presentation the Director General of Sports, which was accompanied by Mayor Cehegín, Jose Soria, the Councillor for Sports of the City Council, Antonio Marin, technical and Spanish Orienteering Federation, Juan Ferra, said that "in the Region Murcia guidance continues to grow despite the heights in participation and are already very high level. The first edition of this test orientation test is considered the second oldest of its kind in Spain, was held in 1989.
The program this year consists of four races, a Friday, two on Saturday (individual long-distance race in Coto Wonderland and individual sprint race) and individual middle distance race in Coto de las Maravillas, Sunday .
The awards ceremony will take place at 13:00.
