Mayor Cehegín, Jose Soria, and the Councillor for Education and Culture, Nicolás del Toro, have visited the classrooms of Secondary School Vega of Argos, to see first hand a business initiative of a group of students of 3 º ESO .
A dozen young people have formed a cooperative, from which they intend to transact business with typical products and handicrafts of the region of Murcia, such as sandals, rice, oil, sausages, local wine, and so on.
These small entrepreneurs have explained the ambitious project that developed during this school year, which have contacts with a similar company based in Madrid, to sell their products there.
The mayor has encouraged them in this initiative, explaining actual cases to be found throughout this venture, some more successful than others, but all rewarding.
In fact, the next step is to request a loan from a bank of Cehegín.
For his part, Nicolas del Toro has been very pleased that IES Vega del Argos is one of the centers entrepreneurs, as "participating students will develop creativity, teamwork, taking initiative, accepting accountability, leadership and autonomy. "
