The Minister of Education, Constantine Sotoca, along with the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, Councillor of Education, Nicolas del Toro, and the director of public school Virgen de las Maravillas, María Jesús Delgado, found the plaque commemorating the 'Slate Silver ', which granted the autonomous region to the center.
During the ceremony, Sotoca could meet the school facilities, for which students spent an exception, such as the matador Pepin Liria, and artist Nicholas de Maya, among others, plus many that are today cehegineros reference in their professions.
