The Department of Social Services, directed by Maria Isabel Martínez, handed the keys to other municipally owned property to a family of Cehegín, which fulfilled the requirements to qualify for this property.

Thanks to a grant of EUR 41,390.24 Housing and Land Institute of the Region of Murcia has been able to restore this house, situated in the Street of Columns, and intended for relocation of families with certain characteristics.

Thus becomes the second home that comes thanks to the aid of the IVS, since the first one, located at Santa Maria Magdalena, known as the 'Casa Horno', was assigned last year.

Martinez also announced that "currently being rehabilitated a third, located in Regina Street Encina, 8, municipally owned, which have the same purpose as the above."
