The Councillor for Environment, María Dolores Carrasco, has reported that "following the recent signing of a cooperation agreement between the City Council and the association Cehegín restart, Ecopark Cehegín already has two new containers for storage of waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). "
The agreement ensures the proper management of this waste, where they accommodate from small appliances such as dryers, coffee makers, phones, etc., to large appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators or televisions, carrying out the separation of all components later recycling or landfill, and thereby preventing uncontrolled discharge and pollution that entails.
Carrasco has taken the opportunity to remember the need to separate and put the waste properly, thus encouraging recycling and proper treatment, in turn urging all citizens to make use of the EcoPark.
The schedule for this fair are Monday through Friday from 10 to 13 and from 16 to 19 hours and on Saturdays, from 10 to 13 hours.
