Begastri open its doors to the public from tomorrow onwards, every Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 13.30, as reported by the council of Culture and Tourism, Francisco Nicolás del Toro and April, respectively.
Del Toro has announced that it has signed a contract for the second phase of excavation and restoration Begastri with works that will focus on rebuilding all the walls, rising to the height they were originally.
Besides being finalized Welcome Center for visitors, are being placed columns, simulating a Roman house, and installing large amount of information panels in the new trails, so that it can also be visited without a guide.
According to April, "This is another step to further increase tourism in Cehegín, although it should be clear that people will not see a city rebuilt, but a living archaeological dig."
During the press conference, both elected officials have also announced that the Municipal Archaeological Museum, which until now opened only in the morning, so will the afternoons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
