Juan José García Sánchez II proclaimed winner of Tourist Photo Contest Cehegín, thanks to a collection of ten snapshots, "in which he has managed to squeeze even more apparent the essence that our Casco Antiguo", according to members of the jury, which has been 400 euros.
The second prize (270 euros) has been to Juan José Ruiz Abellán, with another series of photographs of top quality prospects looking unimaginable 'looping the loop' of originality.
Mayor Jose Soria, responsible for delivering both awards, thanked the participation of all the contestants, saying that "these photos are invited to visit the Old Town as there are pictures of places that hardly knew."
For his part, Councillor for Tourism, Francisco in April, has announced that "these photographs form part of any promotion of the Old Town, appearing in brochures, logos, etc.," while adding that "during the month of November, winning pictures will be exhibited at the Youth Space, and, at Christmas, is displayed to the public a selection of all those presented in the House of Culture. "
