Cehegín City Council, through the departments of Environment and Forestry, led by María Dolores Carrasco and Joaquín Marín, respectively, have been distributed to citizens about a thousand seedlings of pine and palmetto, during an activity framed within the regional campaign 'Clean Up the World'.
The Alpargatero Square hosted the delivery of these plants, which have been distributed by volunteers of the Youth Group 'Nueve.e' Cehegin, accompanied by Mayor Jose Soria and both mayors, who have also assisted in this work.
María Dolores Carrasco has appealed to all citizens who have collected one of these samples, provided by the General Directorate of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, so that "sow as soon as possible to ensure their rapid settlement on the ground" .
