The Ministry of Universities, Business and Research in collaboration with the City of Cehegín and Northwest Traders Federation organizes and Crafts Trade Show and Fair Northwest Outlet of the Northwest Region and Rio Mula.
These two initiatives, involving a total of 30 artisans and 60 shops, will be developed in that location and simultaneously from tomorrow until Sunday.
The initiative was announced today by Director General of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo, and the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria.
Both stressed the positive synergies generated by these samples, not only for artisans and merchants who participate, but for the whole town and all its facilities.
"Both actions are part of the measures contained in the Trade Promotion Plan 2008-2010 promoted by the Department and help to revitalize the historical center of Cehegín and retailers, as they are an attraction for visitors from different points in the region, "said Lorenzo.
The historical link with the Northwest District of Crafts is reflected in the tradition of crafts such as espartero (which is a monument dedicated Cehegín), making tiles and bricks, floriculture and food processing craft.
Proof of this is the more than 30 artisans participating in the Trade Show and Crafts products for various crafts such as cheese, confectioner, beekeeper, butcher, butcher, leather goods, paper and cardboard maker, toy, glassmaker, silversmith , potter, pottery, weaving rugs, tailor costumes, artistic metalistero, silversmith, painter, draftsman, carpenter joiner and glazier.
In the Outlet Fair will present 60 shops of various sectors such as fashion and accessories, footwear, home decor, computer, pharmaceutical, dry goods, bookstores, furniture, sports, electronics, jewelry and photography.
All of them offer quality products at highly discounted prices.
The celebration of both events is part of the actions developed by the Ministry to promote the handicraft and retail trades shows and regional fairs, "making available to the artisans and traders all the tools needed to grow professionally and do their business every day stronger and more competitive, adapt to market needs and an increasingly demanding public, "added the CEO.
