The Councillor for Environment, María Dolores Carrasco, has announced the activities to be carried out in Cehegín to commemorate the World Environment Day, which will be held on Friday, June 5.

From early morning, a chair stand Alpargatero Square, where citizens can obtain any information about how to further respect the environment, with actions such as recycling.

A couple of actors in turn interpreted the role of inspectors to check whether cehegineros are careful with their environment.

In the afternoon, the House of Culture will host the screening of the animated film Wall-e, to 18.30, with free admission for everyone.
