The events to commemorate the 40 Anniversary of the Secondary School of Argos Vega have started with the discovery of a commemorative plaque and the opening of an exhibition by the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, and the Councillor for Education and Culture and director center, Nicolás del Toro.
In addition, it has been open to the public a classroom period, has held a Mass and flower offering to the Virgen de las Maravillas has conducted a lecture by Juan Carlos Espin de Gea, a former student of the center, a molecular biologist CEBAS and researcher, and has appeared in the magazine 'Argonauts'.
Nicolás del Toro noted that "the pictures in the exhibition have been donated by former students and teachers" as well as to clarify that "the old class order to show the differences between how the class was given before and now."
For his part, Jose Soria has revealed that "when the school opened four decades ago I was part of that first class of students," adding that "this center has always gone well, taking an upward trajectory and will continue over the next years. "
