The Secondary School of Argos Cehegín Vega will start tomorrow's celebration of its 40th anniversary with a series of activities that will last until 26 June.
This center was opened in the 60's, to meet the educational needs caused by the closure of the high schools of the Franciscan Fathers who ran in the town.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, May 29:
10 hours: Discovery of plaque and opening of exhibition.
11 am: Mass and wreath to the Virgen de las Maravillas (Sanctuary).
12 pm: Lecture by Juan Carlos Espin de Gea, a former student of the center, a molecular biologist and researcher at the CEBAS (House of Culture).
Presentation of the magazine 'Argonauts' (House of Culture).
Monday, June 1:
Poetry reading (IES Vega del Argos).
Tuesday, June 2:
Final league football and volleyball.
Trophy (IES Vega del Argos).
Wednesday, June 3:
Competition exhibition of paintings (IES Vega del Argos).
Thursday, June 4:
Screening of short films and audiovisual works (IES Vega del Argos).
Friday, June 5:
Poetry reading (IES Vega del Argos).
Friday, June 26:
14.30: Lunch brotherhood and honor teachers Doña Mercedes Marcos and Don Diego de Maya.
21 pm: end of year party with Spanish wine for parents, students and teachers, and concert Noise Box.
