Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and the Councillor for Education and Culture, Nicolás del Toro, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation, received in the Plenary Hall of the mayor of the German town of Bad Widbad, Marc Klaus, who came accompanied by the director of the Institute Enztal-Gymnasiun, Michael Lang, and their wives.
Just two years ago, Jose Soria and Nicolas del Toro Bad Widbad visited, in order to meet the educational system operating in that community, because the exchanges that have taken place for years between Cehegín institutes and the German city.
Now, Marc and Michael Klaus Lang has returned the visit, which may have known the Old Town Begastri Late Roman City, the rich cuisine, sports facilities, cultural and youth, as well as some areas of the Northwest Region.
The German mayor said he had enjoyed the trip, which highlighted the differences between the two cities, such as that Bad Widbad, which has 11,000 inhabitants live exclusively on tourism, with its hot springs, with a formula that is yielding very good results, "Vacation + Health."
It may not be much difference, since some years now Cehegín City Council is turning to promote tourism in the town, knowing that one day will be the main source of wealth of the people, possibly the most beautiful of Region of Murcia.
