Cehegín City Council has granted the amount of $ 22,000 to the Central Board of guilds, to defray the costs that arise for the realization of Holy Week.

In a ceremony held at the hall of the consistory ceheginero, led by Mayor Jose Soria, President of the Junta Central, Alfonso Gil, and the new treasurer of that organization, John Wonders, was handed a check for this amount.

Gil thanked Mayor collaboration, ensuring that, after all, "is the result of the contribution of the people of Holy Week, which is the traditional institution that exists in the locality."

For his part, Mayor Joseph Soria wished everyone "a good Easter, hoping the weather is nice on those days, in which the processions were accompanied by numerous recreational and festive activities."
