Cehegín City Council and the "Project Abraham" have installed five new clothing collection bins in the town, located on the street Cuesta del Olivar, Avenue Alfonso X 'El Sabio', near the new school Pérez Villanueva and in the districts of Canara and Valentin.
According to the councilman of Social Services, María Isabel Martínez, "the cehegineros can put in these containers clothing, footwear and toys which will go to those most in need."
The agreement signed by the municipality and the association in 2006 has made it possible to Cehegín and has a total of twelve of these deposits, which let you reuse, recycle and recover the clothes poured into them, which goes to shops trace and markets, and Third World countries.
The rest are installed in the Plaza Pepin Liria, the EcoPark, Gran Via street, Joan Miró, St. Kitts and Begastri and Station Road.
