El Palacio de la Tercia received yesterday the first of three talks will be held in the town to discuss the Dependency Law, organized by "International Solidarity" and COAG-IR Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Social Services Cehegín, directed by Maria Isabel Martinez.
A number of people who attended it are responsible for the elderly, such as professional carers, users, day care centers and neighbors in general.
The course professor was explaining this law, and resolving all doubts of the participants, for about 3 hours of presentation.
According to Maria Isabel Martinez, "the talk was very interesting for all participants, who were outstanding at any time all that was said, and even were participants and actors to make it in a symposium on the Law Unit, which is not yet well known to everyone.
It added that "it is essential to organize conferences in the field of Social Services, for information on resources that can be accessed to reach all those who suffer from disabilities, or have to fend for office, and especially the elderly living alone. "
The talks will continue this afternoon at the Youth Space, at 17 am and will conclude on Friday in the district of Canara, the Local Social (same time).
