Pastor Don José María Alcázar, a former municipal surveyor and member of the Royal Academy Alfonso X 'El Sabio', presented on Friday, February 6 at 20.30 hours, the new 'Vademecum on Cehegín', which saw the light 20 years ago, and that will populate the shelves of bookstores with a revised edition, supplemented and extended.
The House of Culture will host the presentation of this work, in which the author wanted to include in its pages the book 'districts of Cehegín', to become a major work to determine the location 'inside out'.
Few things seem to slip out to the author with depth review of the 'Vademecum' as it covers topics such as the shield of the city, its flag, the history of Cehegín, term and size, its monuments and tourist resources, economy and industry , irrigation, geological data, the dam of Argos and its rivers, hydrological systems, urban development, which was Bullas, archaeological sites, marble, fountains, Begastri Cross and the 'aircraft' or bencejos.
Undoubtedly, this rejuvenated 'Vademecum on Cehegín' will become the 'flagship' to better understand what it was, is and where it is going this majestic town in the Northwest Region.
