Cehegín City Council, through the council of associations and NGOs, led by Maria Teresa González, handed the president of Bethany Therapeutic Center, Antonio Lopez, the annual subsidy of 5,000 euros for the development of SIFA program, which serves the relatives of people with substance abuse problems.
Information Service, Counseling and Intervention in Drug Addiction (SIFA) will use this money to continue helping families at risk.
From its facilities, located in the Casa de la Musica, a psychologist and social worker serve many individuals who want to know the consequences caused by toxic substances laws, such as alcohol and snuff, as well as illegal, such as cocaine and cannabis, among others.
