The Governing Council authorized the grant, through the Presidential and Public Administration, a grant of EUR 700,000 to the City of Cehegín for the construction of a Security Center in the municipality.

The need for this type of infrastructure is given by the deficit of the current police facilities, which have been outgrown by the police increased in the last two years following the implementation of the Regional Public Safety Plan.
