Cehegín City celebrated the Day of Volunteers, with an information booth in the Plaza del Alpargatero, in which two volunteers tried to attract, inform and sensitize the population about the importance of voluntary action in the municipality, and to communicate the existence of photo competitions and performed monologues, and give sheets with fun phrases.
The Social Volunteer Program, entitled 'Take balls', which involved the Commonwealth of Social Services, encourages participation in all kinds of activities such as campaigns to support the education, support for the elderly and disabled, classes Castilian for immigrants, tasks leisure, residential support, collaborations, summer schools and literacy classes.
