Cehegín City will be held next December 5 the 'Volunteer Day', which will mount an information booth in the Plaza del Alpargatero to attract, inform and sensitize the population about the importance of voluntary action in municipality, and to communicate the existence of two competitions that they do.

The Social Volunteer Program, entitled 'Take balls', which involved the Commonwealth of Social Services, encourages participation in all kinds of activities such as campaigns to support the education, support for the elderly and disabled, classes Castilian for immigrants, tasks leisure, residential support, collaborations, summer schools and literacy classes.
