The Governing Council has authorized a $ 22,000 grant to the City of Cehegín to fund programs and activities that strengthen the training of Underwater Rescue Task Force, composed of volunteers from Civil Protection in the Region of Murcia.
Cehegín City Council has, through its Group of Civil Protection Volunteers, a group of specialists in underwater rescue equipped with all the means of intervention in emergencies and trained through the annual training program that launches Ministry of the Presidency and Public Administration through the Emergency Department.
The group will intervene in those emergencies that warrant the use of search and rescue techniques for underwater rescue and relief.
To this end, the agreement provides a schedule for training and development activities, vocational guidance and underwater rescue, training courses for search and rescue and annual drills.
