Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and Councilman Montes, Joaquín Marín, visited the new director of the Natural Heritage and Biodiversity in the Region of Murcia, Pablo Fernández Abellán, to present a package of measures aimed at improving forest Cehegin and their environments.
Among the activities include periodic cleaning of the forest, reforestation of Coto Wonderland and the construction of artificial lakes in it, environmental signage in the Sierra de Burete and continuation of reforestation programs by the school, among others.
In addition we have again requested the equipment of the youth hostel, the recreation area of the head and a new headquarters for Cehegín forest.
The director general has been very receptive to these proposals, many of which will be carried out safely, in the words that he has sent the mayor and council.
