About 80 people have gone part of the town to mark the International Day Against Breast Cancer and the World Menopause Day, which celebrated the business 'One mile for them', organized by the departments of Associations and NGOs , Women and Sport and the Local Board of the Fight Against Cancer.
The Mesoncico Square has been the place chosen to begin the march, in which participants, wearing T-shirts made exclusively for the event, have carried a giant pink tie, in order to sensitize about the need cehegineros promote early detection campaigns to prevent cancer.
Led by the mayor María Teresa González and the president of the association, Rosario Fernández, they have covered the costs of the Parador, the Plaza of Spain and the Gran Via, until reaching the Parque Juan Carlos I, which was read a manifesto to keep fighting against this disease.
