Service Director Cehegin Day Care, Juan José Gómez, has reported that five senior center users will spend four days holiday in La Manga, on the occasion of a coexistence between all users of day centers Region of Murcia.
Murciano Institute for Social Action (IMAS) has launched this initiative, which will take place from 16 to 19 October, during which he developed numerous socio-cultural activities aimed at the elderly and their caregivers, whether family or professionals.
According to Gomez has said, "This perfectly complements the daily intervention they receive from the Service and that consists mainly of a socio-health care seeking autonomy and well-being of older people in their daily lives."
For his part, Councillor for Social Services, María Isabel Martínez, added that "these programs are very beneficial for them and their caregivers, and attending social and cultural activities, recreational, therapeutic and educational."
