The handmade embroidery course, organized by the Department of Women, led by Felicidad Fernandez has started with 13 women willing to learn this traditional art.
Funded by the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, whose main objectives are to train the target as handmade embroidery professionals with skills to select the proper technique, design, yarns and fabrics, and know and prepare to mount racks .
Europa House is hosting this workshop, which will last seven months in the afternoon.
A total of 300 hours, distributed as follows: 280 hours of embroidery, 10 hours of work orientation, and another 10 hours of equal opportunities.
