The House of Culture has received delivery of more than 70 diploma courses in fabric painting, painting, green beans, rolls, pottery and watercolor held in the Association of Art 'The Garden', which have been organized by the departments of Commerce and Handicrafts and Culture, led by Maria Teresa González and Nicolás del Toro, respectively.
The ceremony was led by the Director General of Trade and Handicrafts of the Region of Murcia, Julio José Lorenzo, and Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, who have offered their full support to that group, in order to continue preparing workshops for next year.
For its part, Maria Teresa Gonzalez said that "this is a good way to recover traditional jobs, but our ultimate goal is to create groups of artisans who can develop professionally."
During the event, the director of 'The Garden', Mary Semitiel, thanked the cooperation of the session and of the autonomous region to give continuity to these courses, in which also participated Therapeutic Center users 'Bethany'.
With all the work done during the year, is conducting an exhibition at the Casa de la Cultura, which will be open to the public throughout the month of October.
