The Governing Council of the Autonomous Region has approved the draft comprehensive plan to clean up the districts bordering the Rio Argos, which was launched last March in Cehegín by the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerda.
This environmental project will involve an investment of 1.9 billion euros, considering a network of 17 kilometers of pipeline that will connect twenty small villages and will restore the river and the reservoir of Argos, made will benefit the quality of life around 2,000.
With this plan will solve all the problems of sewage and purification of Canara, The Carrasquilla, El Campillo de los Jiménez, Algezares, the head, Canada de Canara, stack, Casa de la Vereda, Los Santeros, Los Paulos, The Grid, Casas del Alto, the crippled, the Breakers, La Tercia, Cortijo Capel, Cortijo Bolás, Casa de Cura, The Towers and The Factory.
Also, the Community will invest 2.1 million euros in the tertiary treatment of sewage Cehegín, with capacity of 2.5 cubic hectometres year.
