The company 'AQUAGEST' Region of Murcia SA has been awarded the tender for the concession to manage the water service and sewer Cehegín Township, replacing Gestagua, former manager.
Among the details of the contract he signed with the City, highlights the duration, which will extend over a period of 25 years, receiving the session the amount of 8,331,173 euros, of which already has 4 million in its coffers.
The rest should be shipped in installments during the term of the contract.
This represents an income four times higher than Gestagua.
Of the four companies that submitted to the contest, Aquagest has been the most professional and updated of all, committing not only to improve the overall water and sewer service, but also to carry out hydrographic surveys, upgrading with smart meters in homes and review all pipe networks and channels so that water is not lost on the road.
The company will keep all staff was working with Gestagua, increasing the template with three other workers, so it will have a dozen employees and four vehicles.
Even with these improvements, cehegineros have no increase in their water bill than the one establishing the Commonwealth Taibilla Channel, same for all municipalities.
All municipal departments and areas will consume the water for free.
It has also signed a special clause obliges the company to pay more to the session if a substantial increase water consumption of the public.
On the other hand, Aquagest is studying the restoration of the House of Apothecaries, which aims to set up their offices.
