The councilman of Social Services, María Isabel Martínez, has announced that it is open to the deadline to apply for Study Grants 2008/09, which this year will again be € 25,000, intended to purchase textbooks and school supplies.
These grants are aimed at "those families with lower incomes," as has assured the mayor, who pointed out that "excludes courses enjoy Bonolibro, such as 1, 2 and 3 Primary and 1 º and 2 º ESO ".
All students applying for aid must collect the official form at the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), located on Calle Begastri 5, 2 nd floor (House Music), whose schedule of hours are from 10 to 13 hours.
In this place will deposit, once completed, until 23 September inclusive.
Brand new this year is that there are two types of applications: renewal, for students who benefited from last year, and new award for those who apply first.
In addition, applicants must have a mandatory Spanish nationality or, failing that, a residence permit in Spain in force.
Once you meet the requirements imposed, they immediately paid the amount allocated by the education cycle to which it belongs.
