Cehegín City Council has reached agreement with the company Murcia Turística to open an office in the town, which will provide services to the thirteen municipalities that form the regions of Guadalentín Espuña and the Northwest.
From this, to be located in the basement of the Archaeological Museum (opposite the Tourist Office), will answer any inquiries and take the steps necessary to get the Q for Tourism Quality or SICTED (Quality Tourism Destinations in Spanish).
Antonio López García will be responsible for driving the company's regional department Murcia Turística, which already works for years, and now open in Cehegín.
The Q Quality affects the tourism industry including hotels and apartments, travel agencies, restaurants, camping, and mountain resorts, cottages, timeshare companies, protected areas, tourist information offices, spas, conference centers, beaches and tourist coach operators, among others.
For his part, is intended SICTED for hotels, shops, artisans, taxi drivers, security services, museums, etc..
According to Francisco in April, "the opening of this office will be beneficial especially for tourism, hospitality and commercial area, as they will be carried out without leaving Cehegín all the paperwork to certify their companies and businesses in tourism quality.
Also launching this service in the municipality will contribute to diffuse Cehegín name among professionals throughout the Region, as it will be the benchmark in quality issues for a number of municipalities from different regions. "
