The councilors of Social and Health Services City Hall, Maria Isabel Martínez and Fernández Felicidad, respectively, have announced the expansion of the current staff of Cehegín Health Center, which since last June 30 with a social worker, who pays attention social and health to all those who demand their services, are users of the site or not.
On Mondays and Fridays, from 9 to 13 hours, the social worker meets on the second floor of the Health Center to all these patients, developing its work in coordination with the City Council social workers and two councilors.
According to Maria Isabel Martinez, "is great news, much needed and the result of the repeated requests of Mayor Jose Soria to the Management of Health Service of Murcia and their own counsel."
For its part, Felicidad Fernandez has said that "Mary is a great professional, very experienced, as has been the coordinator for a few years of Day Care Service of Caravaca, with older people, besides having worked in the CAVI (Regional Office Services for Women Victims of Abuse).
With this professional, now has four social workers with Cehegín counts: two City Council Social Services, a Picasso Center (for Immigrants), and another in the Health Center.
