The Municipal Council has approved the establishment of a consortium aimed at managing Begastri Archaeological Park, for which the city will have a late Roman-Visigoth permanent excavation throughout the year and will be visited every day.

Once formed this consortium was established to provide the final amounts to manage the park.
According to the councilman of Communication and Tourism, Francisco in April, "is very important to create this park, as previously dug only fifteen days a year and now have a team every day, a very important development for the locality, as in a few years will see all the structures now buried, which is a cultural and tourist attraction, ie more resources to show people, "adding further that" we do tourist itineraries with information to explain what happened and Begastri how people lived in all those who visit. "
Begastri City has excavated over twenty years, a few weeks in summer, thanks to the collaboration that has provided the University of Murcia, although this has not been enough, for what is expected with the creation of this park considerably faster excavation work and thus to enjoy the beauty of these ruins, one of the most important of the Region of Murcia.
