The poet Vicente Martin Avila Martin has won the First Prize for Poetry 'Gil Fernando Tudela', organized by the Department of Culture Cehegín City Council, with the play "Who knows if behind the light."
This collection, the jury praised for its "closed structure, its frame poetic and precise language" has been the winner of the 600 euro prize to be chosen from more than 170 works submitted, sent from different places in Spain as well as abroad.
Vicente Martin was born on July 31, 1945 at Collado de Contreras (Ávila).
He studied Latin and Humanities, Arts and one year of theology at the seminary of Avila.
After a few years he moved to Salamanca Madrid.
