The writer Clara Escajedo Pastor, City of Cervello Barcelona, has won the Short Story Competition IV 'Salvador García Jiménez', worth 2,000 euros award, thanks to its story "No one sleeps', a great story with lots of records that has fascinated the jury.
Organized by the Department of Culture Cehegín City Council, led by Nicholas Del Toro, this issue has had the participation of 710 works submitted from throughout the Spanish geography and many parts of Latin America, although the end it was Clara who Escajedo has won this prestigious award.
The author, who joins list of former winners, formed by the Spaniard Javier García Cellino, the Candeira Matías Andrés Madrid and Barcelona Juan Cánovas Ortega, is no stranger to the literary world as it is credited with an excellent curriculum, with numerous awards, including:
