Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, was present at the closing of the Fourth Workshop on Environmental Education, organized by the Promoter of the People's University Third Millennium, funded by the Welfare Fund Mediterranean, in collaboration with the local council.
The Youth Space has hosted four successful conferences, which have involved speakers from the likes of Alonso Torrente (nature photographer and author of several photographic texts), Pedro Abellán Ródenas (PhD in biology and ecology), Jesús Rodríguez Sánchez (natural, ecological and ornithologist) and David Sanchez Fernandez (BA in Biological Sciences), who has been in charge of closing this fourth edition.
The director of the People's University, Carmen García Camacho, has been very satisfied with the outcome of these meetings, which have been addressed important issues such as methods and tools can be used to conserve biodiversity.
