City gardeners have transplanted four Canary Island palms of Parque Juan Carlos I, of which three will remain in the park, occupying the space left by the old pond, and the other will travel to the hamlet of La Carrasquilla, which preside the new plaza.
Councilman Works and Services, Juan Antonio Chico, said that "we transplanted these palms because there was a danger that could dump some with high winds that have been raging lately," adding that "the area had become dangerous as well of its proximity to the Earl of Campillos school. "
