The Councillor for Culture of the City of Cehegín, Maravillas Fernández García, has made public the data collected in the report of the Director of the Archaeological Museum of Cehegín, Francisco Peñalver Aroca, regarding the number of visitors this center has had in the past 2015 , which they have been nearly 25,089.
The report notes that 19,473 people visited the museum, did individual form and 5,616 did so collectively, in organized groups.
It also explains that the 7 monthly markets are held in the Plaza del Castillo, every last Sunday of the month, contributed to this Centre 8,900 visits;
and that exposure that took place late last year, "Begastri, a before and after", provided a number of school visits and 2,198 groups, and visits not organized with a total of 6537.
According to the Councillor, "these data are evidence of the potential of Cehegín in their heritage, which, much of it, has been in the Archaeological Museum of Cehegín, a historic center of culture for cehegineros and the region of Murcia ".
