The Craft Market 'The Mesoncico' held this Sunday, January 31, a new edition, dedicated to the Carnival of Cehegín.
As every fourth Sunday of each month, the Castle Square will host this market, in which more than fifty local artisans gather to offer their products, sausages, ceramics, candy, soap, wine, cheese, etc. and where each month you can learn different traditions of the Northwest Region.
This case will be the protagonist of the Carnival ceheginero Market and in it, attendees can sample traditional Carnival cakes with chocolate cehegineras.
In turn, the theater group "Alhory" recreate the carnivals of the town of Cehegín in the Golden Age The work, entitled "The blindfold game" will have two performances, at 12:00 and 13.: 00 of that same Sunday.
Thus, Cehegín will kick off the Carnival, which is held this year between 5 and 13 February.
