The Councillor for Health of the City of Cehegín, Antonia Fernández Nieto, has reported that the Programme of Prevention of Breast Cancer selected travel dates in Cehegín of the Mobile Mammography Unit from 15 to 25 January on the esplanade of the Centre of health.
The Directorate General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), the City of Cehegín and Health Center, has launched this new program to detect Early disease.
From the Department of Health it has appealed to all women aged between 50 and 69 years to come to these tests, since early detection "is essential to reduce mortality from this disease and improve quality life ", as explained by the Councillor for Health.
The councilor also explained that "to facilitate the participation of women in Cehegín Program Breast Cancer Prevention, all between 50 and 69 years of age should have received a letter of appointment before the January 14 2016. If someone with these requirements do not, should contact the Health Center. "
