Councilman Works and Services, Ismael Garcia Abellan, and the Councillor for Employment, Francisco Chico Molina, presented to the media the Local Public Employment Program that will start from the city of Cehegín, thanks to a Team grant ceheginero Government requested and has been granted by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia.

The program entitled "Actions to improve, conservation and maintenance of municipal assets" and through it will be able to benefit Cehegín six people unemployed and registered with the Employment Offices of the SEF.

The project to be carried out lasts for six months and cost a total of 116,057.36 euros.

Of these, the SEF, in co-financing with the European Social Fund, provides 74,904.00 Euros and the City of Cehegín provides 41,153.36 Euros.

The unemployed will be able to benefit from the program will be six workers: two official 1st (masonry and painting) and 4 pawns (two and two masonry paint).

Regarding the selection process of the unemployed, the text of which is under development, the mayor Francisco Chico commented that "the City Council are preparing a contract basis having particular regard to the family and social situation of candidates, it is priority of the government team help as possible to families who are going through a difficult "economic situation.

For its part, the mayor Ismael Abellán explained the actions that will be carried out in this program, noting that "thanks to measures like this, we will be able to improve the conservation status of various municipal buildings such as warehouses CILE, public schools or cottages, while cehegineras can help couples through employment ".

Cehegín City Council plans to begin the selection process of past Christmas holidays, when the foundation of the selection process will be published.

Finally, Chico has encouraged people who are unemployed and who have not already done so to "register with the Employment Office, as the SEF is responsible for conducting an initial screening of candidates".
