The Department of Environment, led by Maria Jose Martinez Verdugo, has taught workshops on recycling in schools in the town.
These were conducted in all schools in Cehegín.
The activity was aimed at students of 3rd Child of schools in Cehegín and has been given by the Association Adinor.
This introduces them to the advantages of separating waste at home, identifying the different containers that can be found on the street as well as the environmental benefits gained.
Children have participated actively in this activity with learning objectives but in a context of fun and games.
These workshops, as explained by the Councillor for the Environment, are aimed at "our younger receive, from this early age, a policy to respect the natural environment around us training".
