The journalism professor Luis Pancorbo, open the Cehegín Cultural cycle with the conference "Five decades of travel. South Pole to Sudan", which will feature the extraordinary life of traveler, since 1969 (when it was the first traveler Spanish set foot on the South Pole) to Sudan.
At the conference, the public can also see pictures of places and people of the world that this journalist has known throughout his long career.

We recall that Luis Pancorbo is Doctor in Information Sciences, his career is closely linked to Spanish Television, first as correspondent in Italy and Sweden and then as a reporter in programs like Dossier (1978), First Page or Target (1981).
But his most ambitious project and it gets more support both from the audience and critics is the documentary series titled Other towns, which began airing on TVE on October 9, 1983 and already in 2010 reached 130 chapters.
In 2008 post product ran out of 9 chapters of 1 hour, some made in 2007, the issue finally verified in August-September 2010 in TVE 2, and 1440, reached at that time around 300,000 spectators.
"Other People" leads the author to explore and disseminate the culture, customs and lifestyles of people from the five continents, becoming a television, nationally and internationally, as evidenced by the results of hearing over time and prizes won (Prize Waves in 1986), and in 2007 four awards at international documentary festivals in New York, Hamburg, Sofia and Sichuan (China).
