Last Sunday took place XV Festival of Bands "City of Cehegín", held in the Camelot room, putting the musical note in this prologue to the festivities of Cehegín.
Organized by the Musical Society Cehegín;
this, alongside bands Blanca and San Javier, acted for an audience that squandered a varied repertoire, finishing the event with the popular Clubbing, singing to Murcia.
Before the performances, the traditional parade that ended at the entrance to the Camelot Room, where they awaited the arrival of these musical groups, an institutional representation of the municipality of Cehegin, led by the Mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora Gabarron was made, the Councillor of Celebration, Ana Maria Molina Lopez;
and the Councillor for Culture, Wonders Fernandez Garcia, and the Court of Honor of our Patron, Queen and Ladies.
In all bands, the mayor, they imposed a hallmark of our town, in recognition of this work in collaboration dissemination of culture and as a thank you for being participants this year in the XV Festival of Bands.
Already in yesterday, also the city of Cehegín Choir, along with the Musical Society Cehegín, did a splendid repertoire of zarzuela and his most emblematic songs, joining the great voices of the choir to a band that together, they delighted an enthusiastic audience.
A Camelot Room that these days is full of music and has served as a threshold for what will be the beginning of the celebrations of Cehegín, which give the kick-off this 8th day of September, in honor of its patron saint, the Virgin of the wonders.
