Cehegín Mayor Jose Rafael Rocamora Gabarrón and Councilman Works, Ismael Garcia Abellan, visited a number of works of adaptation and refurbishment being done in this area.
One of them, belonging to the Plan of Works and Services of the City, is the strong reinforcement in numerous enclaves of the city.
A work budgeted at 78,771 euros, which includes Churruca, San Juan, Santa Isabel, Sola, Santa Ana, San Marcos, Braille, Poniente, streets slope Góngoro and Liberty Avenue, acting on about 10,000 square meters.
The work, awarded to the company González Soto, has a deadline of 15 days and it is necessary to strengthen road surfaces by a layer of asphalt.
On the other hand, the Mayor and Councilman also viewed the refurbishment of the Puntarrón Landscape Area, in its second phase, which will take place paving 2,000 square meters of precast concrete paver rustic.
This work budgeted at € 59,669.46 (including VAT), was awarded to the company Construcciones Perez Fajardo, SL amounting to € 53,105.69 (including VAT).
