Was presented at a press conference the course, between 21 and 24 July, held the Universidad del Mar in Cehegín, entitled "II International Meeting of Young Mediterranean Researchers".
This course is intended for anyone interested in the research, regardless of previous training and the topics will be discussed from a general point of view and with a content accessible to all stakeholders.
The course has the presence of speakers from different European universities and research centers, so that the internationalization of the same is assured.
The registration period ends on July 15, and must be done through the University of Murcia, on the website of the Universidad del Mar.
They have been present in this coming-of this course, the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora Gabarrón, the Councillor for Education, Maravillas Fernandez Garcia, the Vice President for Training and Innovation at the University of Murcia, Pedro Miralles Martinez and Carlos Alberto Gonzalez, one of the course leaders.
The Mayor said that "this government is going to take very seriously the role of education because it is a decisive factor for development and therefore continue to support these courses that enhance the role of research and innovation" .The Rector , meanwhile, thanked the City of Cehegín their collaboration, as this is one of the courses offered by the University Star of the Sea
The main objective of the course, have highlighted, is the meeting of all those interested in research careers today.
Introduce participants to a research career.
Addressing the various stages of the research career, exposing for each, what it is the role of the researcher and funding resources currently available.
Addressing the potential of research as an agent of economic development and employment.
Also explain the importance of research within the framework of international cooperation.
