The Governing Council authorized the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), a proposal from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, to extend until December 31, 2015 the agreements it has with 14 municipalities for the service center day for elderly dependents, for a total amount of 1,613,955 euros for 366 seats.

Among these councils is that of Cehegín.

For the Day Center Virgen de las Maravillas the amounts to 109,725 euros for concerted 30 squares.

The goal is to continue to provide comprehensive care to the elderly in a situation of dependency that require some care and services in the activities of daily life that can no longer get in your environment by various social and family reasons.
