The Department of Tourism has completed the second phase of the ornamental lighting of the Old Town, which has included the towers of the Church of the Conception and the house of Chico Guzman family, the duchy of Ahumada, and Javier Sanchez of Amoraga and Garnica.
The performance was made possible by a grant from 11,132 euros from the ERDF.
The company ceheginera Egea Electricity has been in charge of the electrical installation of the four towers, which has boosted cornices, pilasters, gates, arches, eaves, altarpieces of tiles and other architectural and decorative elements.
It has also repaired lighting giant Cruz Cehegín located in the Peña Rubia.
"" Cehegín now offers night panoramic view of its historic six lighted towers that make our Old Town keeps winning attractive for visitors and for those who live here, "said the Councillor for Tourism, Francisco in April.
This phase was added to the above, when the Palace of the Fajardo, the Archaeological Museum, City Hall, the Tower of the parish of the Magdalena or the heraldic shields that are in the many noble manors and scattered through many streets lit the old town of the town.
