The primary schools of Cehegín have participated in some lectures awareness on rare diseases under the title 'Rare diseases go to school', organized by the Association D'Genes.
These talks have been given to students in 3rd and 4th of Primary schools Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas, Virgen de Las Maravillas, City Begastri, Pérez Villanueva and Count of Campillos by the delegate of the National Association Friends of Arnold Chiari (ANAC) in Murcia, Mayca Llorente, and the coordinator of the Association for Rare Diseases D'Genes in the Northwest region, Pascual Donate.
During the sessions was used audiovisual and teaching materials provided by the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER).
In addition, children have participated in the symposium and doing activities like the fairy crafts Federito or four leaf clover.
All participating children were presented with a sticker and a meter and have made drawings on rare diseases will be exposed for two weeks at the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center.
