Students from three schools of Secondary Education have staged readings related to 'Don Quixote'
Juana María Cortés Amunárriz and Blázquez have received this morning the awards that accredit them as winners XI Story Contest 'Salvador García Jiménez' the story 'Communion', and VIII Poetry Prize 'Fernando Gil Tudela' with the poems' Escape Plan ', respectively.
Both awards were presented at the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center activities coinciding with World Book Day, April 23, and public staged reading of texts on 'Don Quixote' that have made the three centers of Secondary Education locality, Alquipier IES, IES Vega of Argos and Concerted Colegio Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas.
This year 2015 the fourth centenary of the publication of this masterpiece of Spanish literature, works of Miguel de Cervantes is met.
The event was attended by Mayor Jose Soria, the Councillor for Culture, Nicolás del Toro, and writer Salvador García Jiménez.
During the same was presented and distributed to attendees a book published by the City to commemorate the first ten years of the story contest named laureate ceheginero this writer.
At the entrance of the Cultural Center Adolfo Suárez has exposed a collection of international labels whose letters have been participants in the two literary competitions over the years.
This year, for the eleventh Story Contest 'Salvador García Jiménez' have received 934 works, while to participate in the VIII Prize for Poetry 'Fernando Gil Tudela' have arrived 453 poems.
